  Bread pretty average. I have tried a few of their 'sourdoughs' and they are not sourdough, just regular bread: light as a feather and unsubstantial. I now avoid the breads (getting it next door at Melbas), but would recommend the Village's cakes and pastries. Those suckers are often covered in sugar and cream; deliciously decadent.

  I am not a believer in the supernatural, but if I was I would say that this place resonates with me on a spiritual level. Such good vibes from the staff, and the bread is second to none. Without exaggeration, I really think this is the best bakery in Melbourne. Go on, challenge me.
